ENLIGHTENme is the College of Emergency Medicine's central strategy for e-learning.

The overall vision is to develop an integrated web based self directed learning strategy which will meet the needs of trainee doctors in Emergency Medicine.

Emergency medicine imageThe strategy will deliver:

  • A series of short and long self assessment e-learning modules to suit the needs of trainees, SAS doctors and consultants in Emergency Medicine
  • Materials presented as a series of interactive case scenarios with linkage to the College of Emergency Medicine's Knowledge Bank for up to date reviews of subject matters
  • An opportunity to participate in an EM networking community to share experiences and ideas related to better understanding and delivery of emergency care

The materials will be developed to link/complement specifically with departmental and regional teaching programmes and subsequent work based assessment (WBA) for trainees.
