The Foundation e-Learning Programme is a free and innovative e-learning resource for Foundation doctors.
It is designed specifically to support the Foundation curriculum and is approved by the UKFPO. The material has been developed by the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges in partnership with e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH).
The highly interactive sessions of
e-learning are designed to enhance and blend with the existing teaching within Foundation Schools. The sessions use high quality graphics, video, animation and interactive exercises. They provide learning objectives and are mapped to specific competences.
Each session of e-learning takes around 20 minutes to complete to fit in with busy work/study schedules and can be used:
Around 60 sessions of e-learning are now available to use with more being added on a regular basis. Subjects currently covered include Health Promotion, Safe Prescribing and Equality and Diversity. Watch this space for further updates.
Safeguarding Children and Young People
