e-VTE is an e-learning resource for Venous Thromboembolism development by the Chief Medical Officer's VTE Implementation Working Group (IWG). In partnership with e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH).

VTE causes an estimated 25,000 potentially avoidable deaths each year in hospitals in England. That's approximately five times the total number of deaths from hospital-acquired infection.
