Paramedic eLearning is a suite of Continuing Professional Development sessions for Paramedics working in a variety of settings. These online sessions have been developed with the aim of providing ‘bite-sized’, interactive learning experiences that function well on a variety of mobile devices. ELearning for Paramedics is available for free for all NHS and military employees, all users of a .ac.uk address in Higher Education and all College of Paramedics Members. Learning is recorded on the eLearning for Healthcare Hub. NHS employees may also access the modules via their Electronic Staff Record.
The sessions have had editorial support from expert Paramedics, with technical support from the eLearning of Healthcare Instructional Design team and steering group oversight from the Association of Ambulance Service Chief Executives, the National Educational Network for Ambulance Services, the College of Paramedics Educational Advisory Committee and the Forum for Higher Education in Paramedic Science.
Each course consists of up to ten individual sessions that should each take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Each session includes the same sections:

In order to access the Paramedics programme, you will need an elfh account. If you do not have one, then you can register by selecting the Register button below.
To view the Paramedics programme, select the View button below. If you already have an account with elfh, you will also be able to login and enrol on the programme from the View button.
The Paramedics programme is also available to NHS healthcare staff via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). Accessing this elearning via ESR means that your completions will transfer with you throughout your NHS career.

If you are not an NHS health or care organisation and therefore do not qualify for free access elfh Hub, you may be able to access the service by creating an OpenAthens account.
To check whether or not you qualify for free access via OpenAthens, you can view the eligibility criteria and register on the ‘OpenAthens’ portal.
