These eLearning sessions will be beneficial to practitioners in NHS Talking Therapies services (formerly known as Improving Access to Psychological Therapies/ IAPT services) who work with underrepresented populations e.g., older people, ethically and culturally diverse communities.
The eLearning sessions are based on NHS Talking Therapies Positive Practice Guides. Namely, the NHS Talking Therapies Older People’s Positive Practice Guide, which was published in 2021 and the NHS Talking Therapies Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Service User Positive Practice Guide, which was published in 2019.
The eLearning provides examples of actions which services and practitioners can take to improve access, outcomes and experiences for underrepresented communities.
