Expanding clinical placement opportunities

As healthcare moves towards digitalisation so does the training of clinicians. The Peer Enhanced e-Placement (PEEP) model has been designed to improve blended learning placement opportunities in health and care. The PEEP model was developed as a response to challenges posed by COVID-19, ensuring that students can still meet their placement learning requirements online.

Following its launch PEEP has won several awards and is recognised as a tool that can open access to the practical elements of health and care training. This means that PEEP breaks down access barriers to learning through the flexible nature of the tool.

The tool has been commissioned by NHS England’s Blended Learning Programme to enable free, unlimited access to the PEEP resource for all healthcare education providers.
