The Eastman Dental Hospital Education Centre (EDHEC) Online Learning Programme is an innovative, progressive initiative developed by EDHEC and supported by Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) NHSE for healthcare. It is the gateway to premium, easily accessible dental education of the highest standards meeting the needs of continuing professional development.
Our aim is to provide dentists and dental care professionals with easy access to progressive, tailored, interactive learning experiences to empower their confidence in daily clinical practice. Our meticulously crafted courses are designed to elevate expertise and proficiency in various aspects of dentistry such that learning can be integrated and balanced against the professional demands of a busy schedule.

Each session is structured to be interactive lasting up to 45 minutes and can be completed as a whole or in parts allowing the opportunity to return where you left off, thus giving flexibility to seamlessly integrate learning into a busy schedule, providing a hassle-free and enriching educational journey.

This series of 11 webinars focuses on upskilling the dental practitioner and their team in managing children and young people with tips and guidance on tools and techniques that can be used in general dental practice using best practice and evidence-based approach.
This series of 13 webinars provides the dentist and their team with guidance on the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with general oral diseases with a systemic interface. Each session provides up to date information on current thinking and management using an evidence-based approach.
This series covers a range of 5 topics that are often deemed to be challenging for the early dental practitioner. Whilst designed with the dentist during the first 5 years after graduation in mind, the practical tips and guidance provided in the series make them useful for the dental team.
There are 3 courses covering radiology, photography and oral health promotion. Each course has subsets and is ideal for those wishing to enhance their existing knowledge but also act as a stepping stone for those looking to expand their skills in new areas.

To access any elfh programme, you will need an elfh account. If you do not have one, then you can register by selecting the Register button below.
To view the Eastman Dental Hospital Education Centre (EDHEC) elearning series programme, select the View button below. If you already have an account with elfh, you will also be able to login and enrol on the programme from the View button.
If you already have an account with elfh, then you can enrol on to the Eastman Dental Hospital Education Centre (EDHEC) elearning series programme by logging in to the elfh Hub, selecting My Account > Enrolment and selecting the programme. You can then access the programme immediately in the My e-Learning section.
The Eastman Dental Hospital Education Centre (EDHEC) elearning series programme is also available to NHS healthcare staff via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). Accessing this elearning via ESR means that your completions will transfer with you throughout your NHS career.
If you are not an NHS health or care organisation and therefore do not qualify for free access elfh Hub, you may be able to access the service by creating an OpenAthens account.
To check whether or not you qualify for free access via OpenAthens, you can view the eligibility criteria and register on the ‘OpenAthens’ portal.
